For families
Built for the trusted adults in your child’s life.
What your child experiences
- A short, illustrated, narrated story (3–15 minutes depending on age band).
- Two or three meaningful choices at key moments — never a fail state, never shaming.
- A short reflection prompt at the end.
- An optional sentence for the adult: “Ask your child…”
What your child does not experience
- No chatbot or AI conversation.
- No microphone or video capture.
- No advertising.
- No in-app purchases.
- No social sharing or messaging with other children.
What data we collect about your child
None. In the MVP, the child experience does not require an account, does not collect a name, an email, a date of birth, a voice recording, or a location. Local-device progress can be stored on the device itself; nothing is sent to us.
Future features (such as guardian-controlled progress summaries) will be opt-in, plainly explained, and never required to play the stories.
How to prepare a child for the experience
- Sit with them the first time.
- Watch how they react to the choices.
- Use the after-story prompt to start a conversation.
- Use the reduced-sound and reduced-motion settings if they are sensitive to either.

Common questions from families
- Is there a free version?
- Yes. The first batch of episodes will be free during the family pilot. Pricing for the broader release is undecided — we will not finalize pricing before we have a working product to test with families.
- What ages is this for?
- Kindergarten through 8th grade, with three age bands (K–2, 3–5, 6–8). Each band has its own episodes; content is adapted, not just resized.
- Does my child need an account?
- No. The child experience runs without an account, an email, a date of birth, or any other personal information about your child. Local-device progress can be stored on the device itself; nothing is sent to us.
- Does the app use AI to talk to my child?
- No. Stories are written, reviewed, and approved by adults before any child ever sees them. There is no chatbot. There is no microphone. There are no AI-generated responses to your child.
- What if I want to remove my information?
- You may. If you sign up for the family waitlist, your email is the only piece of information we hold; you can unsubscribe or request deletion at any time. The formal data-deletion process is published in the privacy notice.
- Can I review what my child sees before they see it?
- Yes. Every episode has a one-sentence summary, a duration, an age band, an objective, and a content note that an adult can preview before play. There is also a teacher/guardian portal for adults who want to review or assign content thoughtfully.
